Factory manufacturing counterfeit motorcycle air filters sealed

MULTAN: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided a factory and arrested its owner on charge of manufacturing counterfeit air filters of a famous brand of motorcycles in the city on Wednesday.

FIA Multan official told APP that the FIA team raided the factory after receiving information that counterfeit air filters were being manufacturing at a factory at Mushtaq colony, Masoom Shah road.

He said that the factory was sealed besides arresting owner Munir Ahmad on the spot. He said that a number of card boxes including those carrying air filters and the empty ones were taken in possession. An FIR was registered against the owner under Copyright Ordinance 1962, official said.
