Faisalabad Adjudication DC Mueed Kanju hears 19 cases

FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Deputy Collector Abdul Mueed Kanju heard 19 cases of smuggling and tax evasion.

Sources told Customs Today Deputy that Deputy Collector Abdul Mueed Kanjo heard cases of smuggled foreign origin cigarette, tyres, diesel, coconut, ground nuts, Toyota Hilux Surf Toyota Vitz Suzuki Swift and short payment recovery cases in amnesty scheme.

Sources told that seven cases were forwarded by Anti-Smuggling Organization Mianwali and one case was forwarded by ASO Faisalabad. The Deputy collector heard three cases which were submitted by ASO Sarai Nuhajir. Sources told that ten cases were submitted by the Collectorate of Appraisement.

After conducting the hearing Deputy Collector Abdul Mueed Kanju adjourned many cases. The additional deputy collector directed all relevant parties to make sure their appearance during next date of hearing.
