FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication authorities settled as many as 19 cases involving Rs12.130 million during the month of July 2016.
Sources told Customs Today, that Customs Adjudication issued Order-in-Originals (ONOs) in favour of Faisalabad Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Customs Intelligence and Investigations Faisalabad and Field Investigation Unit (FIU) Khushab. Sources said that all 19 cases includes seizure of cloth, Indian origin food grains, Iranian diesel, cell phones, foreign origin cigarettes, auto spare parts, Toyota Corolla vehicle in different bearing registration numbers, ladies cloth and toys, which were confiscated during different raids by customs authorities.
According to monthly statement Faisalabad Adjudication Additional Collector Beelamur Ramzan settled 5 cases involving Rs 7.01 million whereas Deputy Collector Asma Hameed decided 14 cases involving Rs 5.12million and announced decision in favour of Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad, Mianwali, Sargodha, Jhang and Sara-e-Muhajir.
