Faisalabad Adjudication declares seizure of Hino truck lawful

FAISALABAD: Additional Collector Adjudication Asma Hameed has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in favor of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs I&I team intercepted a Hino truck bearing registration no: TKA-375 Sibi which was brought into the country through an unauthorized route and without paying duty and taxes. The vehicle has been impounded under Section 168 of the Customs Act 1969.

The accused person was identified as Muhammad Waseem failed to produce any legal documents regarding the possession of the vehicle.

During chemical treatment of the chassis number of Hino truck no: TAK- 375 it was revealed that chassis frame bearing no FD3HKA-911851 has been found cut and welded. In the light of lab report no doubt that the vehicles are smuggled one.

Additional Collector Asma Hameed issued Order in Original No 127/2018 in favor of Customs Intelligence and Investigations Faisalabad.
