Faisalabad Adjudication declears seizure of Hino truck lawful

FAISALABAD: Deputy Collector Adjudication Asma Hameed has issued Order-in-Original (OnO) in favour of the ASO sargodha.

Sources told Customs Today that ASO Sargodha team intercepted a Hino truck bearing Registration No. TKA-690 which was brought into the country through an unauthorized route and without paying duty and taxes. The vehicle has been seized under section 168 of the Custom Act 1969.

The accused person was identified as Abdul Bari son of Abdul Kareem who failed to produce any legal documents regarding the possession of vehicle.

During chemical treatment of the chassis number of Hino truck No. TAK- 690 revealed that chassis frame bearing No. AK176MA-40294 has been found cut and weilded. In the light of lab report no doubt that the vehicles is smuggled one.

Faisalabad Adjudication Deputy Collector Asma Hameed issued Order-in-Original in favour of ASO Sargodha.
