Faisalabad Adjudication hears 11 cases

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad the Customs Adjudication Collectorate Additional Collector Bilamur Ramzan has heard 11 cases involving duty And taxes of Rs 15,170,511.

Sources told Customs Today that most of cases were related to smuggling of vehicles and other imported items. Sources said  that one case  filed by Anti Smuggling Organization Faisalabad involved duty and taxes Rs 1,393,432. While three cases belonged to customs import section involving customs duty and taxes of Rs 5,194,575. One case of tax evasion was filed by Anti-Smuggling Organization Sargodha which included tax amount of Rs 1,040,490. Two cases  which were belong to Jhang district also come up for hearing includes tax evasion of Rs 2,775,336.

Meanwhile, one case was filed by ASO Mianwali which involves taxes worth Rs 1,974,183  and two cases belonged to customs collectorate and appraisement branch involving customs duty evasion Rs 2,792,505.  Adjudication Additional Collector Bilamur Ramzan adjourned the hearing of cases to others dates.
