Faisalabad Adjudication recovers Rs366.285 million until December 2017

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication recovered Rs366.285 million after concluding hearing of different seizure cases until December 31, 2017.

Sources told Customs Today, that Customs Adjudication decided almost 123 cases during the month of December 2017. The adjudication issued Order in Original (ONO) in all cases in favor of the Customs Anti-Smuggling Organization and Customs Intelligence and Investigation.

The department heard cases of smuggled oil, cloth, tea auto parts, Iranian diesel, Rani juice, Toyota Corolla and other item during the said period.

Collector Adjudication Asif Abbas decided 17 cases which involves Rs280.850 million while Additional Collector Muhammad Saeed Asad settled 30 cases involving Rs49.815 million.

Deputy Collector Asma Hameed decided 76 cases which involves Rs35.620 million and announced decision in favor of Customs Intelligence and Investigation until December 31. 2017.
