Faisalabad Adjudication recovers Rs3693.250m after deciding 326 seizure cases

FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication recovered Rs3693.250 million after concluding different seizure cases till June of current Fiscal Year 2019.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Adjudication decided 326 cases during the above-said period. The Customs Adjudication issued Orders-in-Original (ONO) in all cases in favor of the Customs Anti Smuggling Organization Faisalabad, Sargodha, Mianwali, Jhang, Sara-e-Muhajir and Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad.

The department heard cases of smuggled oil, cloth, Indian tea, auto parts, Iranian diesel, Rani juice, Iranian diesel, LCD, LED, mobile phones, old and used machinery, children shoes, grey fabrics and used laptops, Toyota Corolla car, Land Cruiser, almonds and other items.

Collector Adjudication Muhammad Adnan Akram decided 50 seizure cases of Rs 3420.153 million. Similarly additional collector of Customs Adjudication Asma Hameed settled 276 cases involving Rs 273.097 million and announced the decision in favor of Customs Intelligence and Investigation till June 2019.
