Faisalabad AFU seizes smuggled mobiles, betal nuts, abaya

FAISALABAD: The Customs Air Freight Unit (AFU) has seized more than 36 pieces of smuggled cellular phones huge quantity of betal nuts and abaya at Faisalabad International Airport during checking process NL-799 Shaheen Airlines.

According to sources, the AFU team under the supervision of Assistant Collector Shah Samad Hamdani, comprising Superintendent Dilawar Hussain, Inspector Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Yousaf, Qadeer Anwar, Umair Abbas, and Sepoy Liaqat Ali, Muhammad Shoaib during the course of checking of passenger of Shaheen Airlines detained three bags which were owned by Muhammad Kashif holding pp no: BW4844401, Adil Iqbal pp no: LP338141, Zainab Aslam pp no: PY1816901 they were carrying in black bag. The customs team asked the passenger to show receipt or invoices but he failed to provide any relevant documents.
