Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs 1475.058 million during May 2018

FAISALABAD: The Collectorate of Customs Appraisement collected revenue of Rs1475.058 million during the month of May 2018 against assigned target of Rs 1691.16 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Appraisement was assigned revenue collection target of Rs1205.52 million under the head of sales tax (ST) as it collected Rs 1045.906 million during the said period.

Customs Appraisement collected Rs 424.424 million under the head of customs duty against the set target of Rs 475.64 million.

Sources said that Customs Appraisement generated Rs 4.728 million as income tax against the assigned target of Rs 10 million that was achieved up to 47 percent, while it showed no collection in wake of federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs 1 million during the said period.
