Faisalabad Appraisement collects Rs4780.576m from July to November

FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement collected less revenue for (July-November) 2018 as it collected Rs4780.576 million against the set target of Rs6721.11 million.

Sources told Customs Today, the Custom Appraisement was assigned Rs 4789 million revenue collection target in wake of sales tax (ST) but appraisement collected Rs2885.496 million during the above-said period.

Under the head of customs duty (CD), Appraisement collected Rs1816.961 million against the set target of Rs1864 million by achieving target up to 97.5 percent.

Customs Appraisement generated Rs78.015 million as income tax against the assigned target of Rs68 million that was achieved up to 114.7 percent, while it collected Rs0.104 million in wake of federal excise duty (FED) against the target of Rs0.11 million.
