FAISALABAD: The Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Mainwali has seized non-custom paid Toyota Corolla X car near Sohrabwala, Pindi Road, district Mainwali. The market value of the vehicle is Rs 1.47 million.
Sources told Customs Today that the ASO team comprising Inspector Azhar Hussain Jafferi and Inspector Asif Hussain, Muhammad Ashrif Khan (Havaldar) Sher Ahmad, Muhammad Amin and Muhammad Yousaf (sepoys) raided near Sohrabwala in Mainwali district and seized a non-custom paid Toyota Corolla X car bearing registration no AUR 394.
The ASO team has thoroughly examined the vehicle and found nothing except copy of bogus registration book and no one came forward to claim the ownership of the vehicle.
The ASO team seized the vehicle and submitted report to adjudication department for further legal action.
