FAISALABAD: The Anti Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has impounded non customs paid Toyota Crown car worth Rs 2 million involving duty and taxes Rs 9.5 million officials sources said.
The sources said that ASO impounded the Toyota Crown car near Charaghabad Jhang Road Faisalabad was seen coming from Faisalabad. They added that the ASO scout consisting of Superintendent Tanveer Raza Naqvi, Inspector Shah Nawaz and others stopped the car on the Jhang Road and demanded the documents from the owner of the vehicle Aziz ur Rehman. The sources told that the owner however, failed to produce any documents against the Toyota Crown car.
Earlier, the ASO team on the instructions of assistant Collector of Customs Shah Samad Hamadani seizes vehicle car case was forward to customs adjudication for further legally action according to customs rules and regulation
