Faisalabad ASO recovers 750 smuggled watches

FAISALABAD: Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Faisalabad recovered foreign origin (China) watches during a crackdown. The market value of seized watches is worth Rs 318750.

Sources informed Customs Today that Deputy Collector Muhammad Falik Shair received credible information about somuggling of watches. He immediately constituted a raiding team comprising  Muhammad Javed Mehmood (superintendent), Sardar Muhammad (deputy superintendent), Masood Saeed Chohan, Abdul Jabbar (inspector) and Hafiz Naseer Ahmed, Muhammad Ashraf and Naeem Ullah (sepoy).

The ASO team raided intercepted a bus bearing registeration No. FDS-237 which was coming from Rawalpindi to Faisalabad near Kamalpur Interchange Motorway Chowk and recovered smuggled Moavdo Brand 750 mumber watches from the possession of the bus driver.

ASO team asked the accused to produce any legal documents regarding possession of watches but he failed to provide any relevant documents. ASO team seized the watches.
