Faisalabad ASO seizes non duty paid goods

FAISALABAD: The Anti Smuggling Organization (ASO) has impounded energy drink, beverage tin packs, fruit juice, chocolate, and other commodities worth Rs2,29,722 involving customs duty and taxes Rs 58642. The ASO started crackdown against smugglers in Faisalabad division on the directions of Collector Customs Muhammad Sadiq.

Sources informed  Customs Today, that Deputy Collector ASO Usamn Tariq along with his team, intercepted suspicious vehicle near  Sahianwala and seizes beverage tin packs , energy drink fruit shoot Robinsons multi Vitamins juice , chocolate in Sniker and Kit Kat brand, Black current orange Marmalade jam. All these goods were brought without payment of customs duty and token tax. Theses consignment were intercepted while heading from Rawalpindi to Faisalabad.
