Faisalabad Collector (Adjudication) Tahir Majeed passes away

ISLAMABAD: Federal Board of Revenue has paid tribute to Collector (Adjudication) Raja Tahir Majeed, who passed away on Friday.

In order to acknowledge the officer’s outstanding services for the country and Customs Department, a condolence reference was held at FBR House, Islamabad.

Tahir Majeed, a BS-20 officer of Pakistan Customs Service, was born on May 1, 1961 and joined the erstwhile Customs & Excise Group as Assistant Collector on July 28, 1988 and served at various important positions during his career spanning over a period of more than 25 years including FBR and Customs Collectorates of Sialkot and Lahore. He was a thorough professional with a reputation of a diligent and hardworking officer having command over Customs and Sales Tax laws and procedures.

The officers of Pakistan Customs Service participated in the reference and paid homage to the departed soul and expressed deep shock and grief at his sad demise.

Customs Member Nasir Masroor Ahmad lauded the services of the deceased officer for the department and expressed grief and solidarity with the bereaved family of the deceased officer.
