Faisalabad collectorate achieves revenue collection target for financial year 2015-16

ISLAMABAD: The Collectorate of Customs Faisalabad successfully collected Rs 9,373 million and achieved revenue collection target assigned by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The collection is 20 percent more as compared to the figures of the previous year.

According to details, the collectorate was assigned the revenue collection target of Rs 7,694 by the FBR for fiscal year 2015-16. The collectorate collected Rs 6,520 million during fiscal year 2014-15. The collection figures of fiscal year 2015-15 shows an increase of 43.75 percent as compared to the collection figures of the previous year.

Chairman Fedearl Board of Revenue Nisar Mohammad Khan in a message to Collector Faisalabad Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary lauded the performance of Faisalabad collectorate and hoped that collectorate staff under the supervision of Collector Zulfiqar Ali Chaudhary will continue to show outstanding performance in future.

He also advised to other collectorates who failed to achieve revenue collection target to follow the performance of Faisalabad collectorate.
