Faisalabad customs adjudication recovers Rs 217.208m till November 2015

FAISALABAD: Customs Adjudication Faisalabad has collected 217.208 million while decided almost 155 cases during the first five months of Financial (FY) 2015-16. The adjudication issued order in original (ONOs) in favour of all anti-smuggling organizations under head Custom Collectorate Faisalabad and Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I and I) regional office Faisalabad. The department heard cases of smuggled vehicles imported cloth, generator, ceramic tiles, smuggled diesel and oil and others miscellaneous items during the said period.

According to details, the Customs Adjudication Collectorate decided a case 26 case involving Rs 147.980 million. While additional collector Faisalabad Adjudication settled 26 cases involving Rs 29.910 millions.

Meanwhile, The Deputy collector D.C Asmaa Hameed solved 110 cases involving duty and taxes 39.318 million and announced decision in favour of customs department up to end month of November 2015-16.
