FAISALABAD: The Customs Adjudication has realized Rs 260.420 million while deciding almost 212 cases during the first six months (July-December) of the current financial year.
The adjudication issued Order-in-Originals (ONOs) in favour of Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Customs Intelligence and Investigation in many cases. The department heard cases of smuggled vehicles, imported cloth, generator, ceramic tiles, diesel and others miscellaneous items during the period.
According to the details, Customs Adjudication Collector Raja Tahir Majeed decided 23 cases involving Rs 156.176 millions, while Additional Collector Bilam ur Ramzan settled 24 cases involving Rs 41.61 millions. Meanwhile, Deputy Collector Asma Hameed solved 165 cases involving Rs 62.634 millions.
