Faisalabad Customs Appraisement collects Rs 6.07b in 10 months

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement surpassed the revenue target set for the first ten months (July-April) of the fiscal year 2016, as it collected Rs 6.075 billion against the set target of Rs 6.042 billion.

As per details, the Custom Appraisement was assigned Rs 3.618 billion target in wake of sales tax and it surpassed the target by 135 percent, as it collected Rs 4.869 billion during the said period. Under the head of customs duty, it collected Rs 957.92 million against the target of Rs 2011.81 million by achieving target up to 48 percent.
