Faisalabad Customs Appraisement collects Rs 678.9m in April

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Appraisement collected Rs 678.94 million during April, 2016 against the set target of Rs 710.57 million by achieving it up to 96 percent.

The Customs Appraisement collected revenue under the heads of customs duty (CD), sales tax (ST), income tax (IT) and federal excise duty (FED) during the said period.

According to the statistics available with Customs Today, it collected Rs 23.49 million as customs duty against the target of Rs 193.76 million and achieved it by 12 percent.

The collectorate surpassed the target set for sale tax by 33 percent as it collected Rs 626.27 million against the set target of Rs 469.61 million.

The Appraisement collected Rs 29.15 millions in wake of income tax during the said period against the set target of Rs 39.60 million that has been achieved up to 76 percent. It collected 30,000 in share of federal excise duty against the target of Rs 7.60 million.
