Faisalabad Customs collects Rs 571.48m in December

FAISALABAD: Customs Collectorate Faisalabad has collected around Rs 571.48 million against the assigned target of Rs 531.38 millions during the month of December.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Faisalabad collected revenue of Rs 189.17 million under the head of customs duty in month of December against the set target of Rs 166.32 million.

While under the head of salex tax Customs Faisalabad collected Rs 334.78 million against the target of Rs 328.36 million. Moreover Rs 47.23 million were collected against the target of Rs 36.68 million under the head of income tax in month of December. The Collectorate collected Rs 0.30 million as federal Excise duty against set target Rs 0.02 million.

Sources said that Customs Faisalabad already despatched notices to a number of tax defaulters in recent months asking them to clear outstanding tax amount at the earliest.
