Faisalabad Customs confiscates smuggled items worth Rs 5.15 million

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Customs has seized illegal smuggled items worth Rs 5.15 million in fourth week of November.

As per details, information conveyed through the Azmat Tahira, Additional Director of Regional Office (RTO), the Faisalabad Customs intelligence has seized imported plastic film rolls (printed) weighing 5395 kilograms worth Rs 2.15 from an accused Muhammad Nadeem, a resident of Faisalabad.

Furthermore, the Customs intelligence team headed by FIU Khushab seized Hino Ranger (Dumper) Truck bearing registration No. AE-1193 Sukkar Model 1992 worth Rs 3 million from a suspect Zafar Ali, a resident of Hafizabad.

The raiding party was headed by Muhammad Riaz Deputy Director (DD) Intelligence and investigation. The names of detecting staff include Muhammad Tahir Iqbal (Senior Officer), Muhammad Mansoor, Muhammad Saeed and Farzsnd Ali ( intelligence officer ).
