Faisalabad Customs foils bid to smuggle ice heroin to Dubai

FAISALABAD: The Customs staff deputed at Faisalabad International Airport foiled a bid to smuggle drugs to Dubai and recovered 1285 grams high quality of ice heroin and arrested the accused on the spot.

According to details, the accused Mukhlis Taj was attempting to smuggle the high quality of ice heroin to Dubai. He was clever enough that he selected the time for clearance of his luggage when the Customs staff was changing its shift of duty.

However, the customs staff is more vigilant and professional and is keeping eye on miscreants who are smuggling goods to foreign country and earning bad image for the country as well as the customs department.

During checking, the customs team recovered 1285 grams of ice heroin which was tactfully hidden in the secret parts of his suitcase. The customs officials arrested the accused on the spot and registered drugs smuggling case against him.

It is also important to mention here that customs staff deputed at Faisalabad International Airport showed outstanding performance and busted each and every attempt of smuggling with iron hands.
