FAISALABAD: Collectorate of Customs team deputed at Faisalabad International Airport foiled an attempt to smuggle 1 kilogram of ice heroin to Jeddah.
Sources told Customs Today that customs team intercepted a passenger Asghar Ali resident of Mandi Bahauddin having Passport No ZQ-1813421 travelling from Faisalabad to Jeddah via Flydubai flight no: FZ-324.
Inspector Muhammad Ramzan Shahid and ANF team searched his luggage and recovered one kilogram of ice heroin which was tactfully hidden in the secret pockets of his luggage.
After completing the legal process, the Customs staff handed over the accused to the ANF for further investigations while the ANF registered the case under the anti-narcotics laws.
