LAHORE: The Faisalabad Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation foiled a bid to smuggle foreign cigarettes.
As per details, the customs intelligence established a check post on a tip-off regarding the smuggling. The officials stopped a car and bus and found foreign cigarettes worth Rs 6.5 million.
An official told Customs Today that the accused was arrested on the spot and a case has been lodged. Customs officials have impounded the car and bus.
