Faisalabad Customs holds training session on Goal Setting of Planning Process

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) Faisalabad Collector Doctor Asif Mehmood Jah has organized a one-day training program for the newly appointed Customs Inspectors titled “Goal Setting of Planning Process” in the conference room of the Faisalabad Dry Port Trust (FDPT).

The main objective of the training session was to give an awareness of the behaviour for increasing literacy ability of the newly appointed Customs Inspectors so as to enable them to better manage and control their jobs’ environment. In addition, increasing your communication more than other people would also be helpful in securing decision from the bad sector.

Professor Muhammad Amjad Rufruf (Gold Medalist) explained in detail the key terms like Goal Setting of Planning Process. The other concepts taught included How Much Successful Professional I am, Your Life Score, Three-Minute Test or How Well Do You Receive Communication, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Self-Actualization and Methods of Ego Needs, Security Needs, Body Needs and Ten Commandments of personal effectiveness.

Professor M.A Rufruf said the goal setting is a thinking excercise that activates the natural success system within you. It requires a considerable desire and dedication to sit down and work your way through each step. It engages your inner power and resourcefulness much like a car transmission engages the engine when it is shifted out of natural way. one of the most important and difficult aspect of goal setting is to understand and keep in mind that progress towards any worthwhile goal can be made only step by step.

Collector Customs Doctor Asif Mehmood Jah said to the newly appointed Customs Inspectors that your progress and performance directly depend on your abilities. Collector Asif Jah gave valuable advices, suggestions, feedbacks and inputs. This lecture and training workshop will groom the Customs Inspectors for the future in order to tackle every kind of issues. And also this will enable you to provide input for formulating and implementing viable and pragmatic economic policies to meet the challenges of growth and development. Your input has been penned down which would be communicated to the Federal Board of Revenue accordingly.

At the end of the ceremony, Collector Customs Asif Mehmood Jah, Professor Muhammad Amjad Rufruf and Assistant Collector Shah Samad Hamadani also distributed 15 training certificates among the newly appointed Faisalabad Customs Inspector to enhance their utilization and techniques or technology.
