Faisalabad Customs I&I seizes smuggled ‘sexual’ medicines

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation foiled a bid to smuggle foreign origin Kavetra brand pills on Friday afternoon.

Sources told Customs Today that on strict directions of Customs Intelligence Deputy Director Rana Irfan Shoukat, Superintendent Muhammad Tahir Iqbal, Intelligence Officer Irshad Ali, Muhammad Siddique and sepoy Liaqat Ali raided near Islamia College General Bus Stand and seized banned sexual medicine’s 17700 pills packed in cartons.

It is learnt that the staff asked the people of surrounding areas but no one knew about the owner of the said cartons. Staff waited for a while but no one came there to claim the ownership of the same. Then sexual medicines were brought into Customs Intelligence office.

A seizure report has been registered against the accused persons while further investigations are still underway.
