Faisalabad Customs impounds more than 85 smuggled vehicles

FAISALABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate Faisalabad Anti-Smuggling Organisation (ASO) has so far impounded more than 85 smuggled vehicles during the current fiscal year 2014-15.

Under the supervision of MCC Faisalabad Collector Tauseef Ahmad Qureshi, the ASO launched a campaign against smuggled vehicles and impounded many of them.

As per the details, customs officials impounded various models of vehicles during the operation against duty/tax defaulter vehicles in the region. Sources said that high-ups of the collectorate also lauded the performance of the anti-smuggling wing.

Faisalabad Customs impounded different models of Toyota like Mark X, Land Cruiser, Hilux Surf, Premio, Crown Car, Mark II, Fielder, Land Cruiser ZX V8, Vitz, Corolla Atlas and also different models of Honda company.
