FAISALABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation (I&I) team impounded a non-duty paid Mitsubishi Pajero worth Rs2 million.
According to the details, a team of I&I following credible tip off received through Superintendent Muhammad Tahir Iqbal conducted raid to intercept the non-duty paid vehicles.
The team under the supervision of Deputy Director Rana Irfan Shoukat and Intelligence Officer Mansoor Nasir Muhammad Saleem, Ansar Saleemi intercepted a vehicle Mitsubishi Pajero bearing registration no: ZT-355 Zohb near Samundri Road Faisalabad.
The officials asked the driver namely Ali Sher Khan to produce any documents showing the legal possession and import of the vehicle but he could not show any documented evidence on which customs impounded the vehicle following the prevailing customs laws.
