FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has confiscated a Toyota Corolla car bearing registration no: ADE-140 Sindh model 1994 from CIA staff Sargodha Road. The market value of the car is around Rs 13 million.
Sources told Customs Today that Superintendent Muhammad Tahir Iqbal requested the anti-car lifting cell of CIA, Faisalabad under Section 550 Cr. PC to hand over the said smuggled vehicle to the customs authority.
Customs team seized the car and registered a case against its owner while further proceedings are still in progress till the filing of this report.
