Faisalabad Customs impounds non-duty paid Toyota Mark-X

FAISALABAD: Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad has seized a non-duty paid Toyota Mark-X worth Rs 4 million.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director Riaz Hussain received information that some non-duty paid vehicles are plying on roads. He immediately constituted a customs team comprising Choudhry Saeed Hayat, Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Ilyas Intelligence Officer (IO) and sepoys Masood Iqbal, Muhammad Shehbaz, Musadiq Ahmad, Muhammad Ashraf, Muzamil Hussain and Muhammad Anwar.

Customs team intercepted a Toyota Mark-X near Eden Valley 208 Chak Road and asked the owner of vehicle who was identified as Muhammad Tauseef Anwar son of Muhammad Latif Anwar to produce legal documents regarding possession of car but he failed to provide any relevant documents.
