Faisalabad Customs Intelligence earns Rs 1m through auction

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation generated Rs 1.017 million through auction of smuggled goods on Monday.

The Customs Intelligence presented two vehicles, including Honda City car bearing Registration No DGA-393 and Hino Ranger Truck Registration No SBA- 336, for bids.

The miscellaneous goods, including TOMAX brand kids wear, solar plates, pedestal fan, motorcycle tyres and tubes, cycle tyres, 4,802 kilogram of cloth, Indian origin cloth weighing 2,273kg and other items.

Meanwhile, only a participant showed interest in Indian origin cloth, which was auctioned for Rs 1.017 million, while other items could not attract the participants.

Superintendent Muhammad Rafiq Ahmad and Senior Intelligence Officer Muhammad Mansoor conducted the whole auction of vehicles and articles here at the Faisalabad Customs Intelligence.
