Faisalabad Customs Intelligence registers 80 cases in seven months‏

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation seized smuggled items worth Rs 18.32 million from July 2015 to January 2016.

Sources told Customs Today that Additional Director Ms. Azmat Tahira formed different teams to curb smuggling in the region and during various operations customs team impounded non-duty paid vehicles and others goods. The Customs intelligance teams foiled a number of smuggling bids in the regions

Sources said that customs intelligence registered 8 cases July. In the month of August only 1 case was registered . 12 case were registered in the month of September. While 10 cases registered in month of October. 14 cases were registered in November. 16 cases were registered in month of December. While 13 smuggled cases were registered in the month of January, 2016.
