Faisalabad Customs Intelligence takes into possession NDP Toyota Fielder

FAISALABAD: The Faisalabad Customs Intelligence and Investigation has impounded a non-duty-paid Toyota Corolla (X) car. The market value of the Toyota Corolla is Rs02million involving customs duties and taxes of Rs02million.

Sources told Customs Today that Customs Intelligence team received a tip-off through Deputy Director Muhammad Azam Khan regarding the non-duty-paid vehicle plying on a road in Faisalabad.

He immediately constituted a raiding team comprising Intelligence Officer Irshad, Muhammad Siddique, Muhammad Saleem and Sepoys Liaqat Ali, Israr Ahmed, Mussadaq Ahmed and Saif ullah.

The team intercepted a Toyota Corolla car X with registration No: AMR-373 Sindh, model 2001, near Civic Centre, Guttwala Pull, Sheikhupura Road, Faisalabad.

The intelligence team asked the accused, identified as Muhammad Idrees son of Muhammad Bashir, to produce the legal documents regarding the possession of Toyota car but he failed to do the same. The authorities concerned took into possession the car and registered a case against the owner of the car.
