Faisalabad Customs seizes foreign origin used generator 1000 KVA

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation Faisalabad has seized a used generator 1000- KVA power ( SDMO brand ) worth Rs 5 million which also involves customs duty and taxes of Rs 3,175,000 (approximately ). That generator was being smuggled into Faisalabad through an unauthorized route and without payments of customs duty.

Sources told Customs Today that Deputy Director Muhammad Riaz Hussain received credible information about the smuggling attempt after which he formed a customs team comprising Zahid Saleem Mirza (SIO), Main Muhammad Yousaf (IO), and Allah Bakhsh, Muhammad Rafiq (sepoys).
