Faisalabad Customs to hold auction of smuggled vehicles & goods on 24th

FAISALABAD: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Faisalabad, will conduct an auction of impounded vehicles and goods on January 24.

According to details, the customs intelligence will present 11 lots for public auction, including Toyota Corolla X car, Samsung brand LED TVs of different models and series, imported A.S cloth and grey fabrics.

All these vehicles and items were seized by the Customs Intelligence and Investigation and Field Investigation Unit (FIU), Khushab, during anti-smuggling activities in the region. The items which will be offered for auction include three generators of 50-KVA and 150-KVA, printed plastic paper of 5395 kg, 1525 kg cotton bed-sheets and curtains, 4676 kg grey fabrics and Samsung LED TVs’ 11pieces in different size 32″, 40″ and 42″. About 273 rolls of A.S cloths (3645 kg) will also be presented for auction.

Deputy Director Muhammad Riaz Hussain will supervise the auction while Superintendent Fareed-du-Deen Masood and Muhammad Saleem, Intelligence Officer, will hold auction process.

The Customs Intelligence and Investigation, Faisalabad Range Office, is presenting all the vehicles and goods after conclusion of seizure cases. The customs intelligence authorities are trying to generate more revenue before the end of Fiscal Year 2016-17.
