Faisalabad Excise and Taxation collects Rs803.45m as property tax in H1

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs803.454 million in the wake of property tax during first 6 months of the current fiscal year 2016.to 2017.

Excise official told Customs Today that the department collected corresponding amount from city, Jhang, Chiniot and Toba Tek Singh fall under the jurisdiction of the Faisalabad Excise.

As per the details, the department collected Rs699.347 million from Faisalabad region, it has collected against the assigned annual target of Rs1310.0 million that has been achieved up to 53 percent.

The excise has achieved 45 percent of the annual target by colleting Rs30.414 million from Jhang region against the assigned target of Rs66.917 million.

From Chiniot, it has collected Rs27.972 million by achieving 41 percent of the set target that is Rs67.565 while in Toba Tek Singh; the excise has collected Rs45.728 million against the annual target of Rs85.840 million that has been achieved up to 53 percent.
