Faisalabad Excise’ anti-narcotics collects Rs15.7m in first quarter

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation’ anti-narcotics wing has collected Rs 15.741 million during first quarter (July-September) of current fiscal year 2015-16, while its yearly target is Rs 85.786.

As per details, Faisalabad district has collected Rs 13.709 million showing 17 percent growth towards its annual target of Rs 79.406.

Rs 995,000 were collected from Jhang region, while its annual target is Rs 4.50 million that has been achieved by 22 percent so far.

Meanwhile, the Chiniot region has collected Rs 783,000 million against the assigned of Rs 727,000.

Moreover, Toba Tak Singh has also collected the Rs 253,000 against the assigned target of Rs 1.151 million which is about 22 percent.

Excise team comprising Zarar Ahmad, Hasnood , Javeed, Maneela and Faiz Cheema participated in the revenue generation.
