FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department Faisalabad region has achieved the revenue target up to 95 percent in fiscal year 2014-15.
As per details, the Punjab government had assigned the Rs 2 billion revenue recovery target to Faisalabad division for outgoing fiscal year, while it has collected Rs 1.88 billion that is 95 percent of the total target.
District Faisalabad has recovered Rs 1.520 billion; District Jhang collected Rs 140 million; District Chiniot generated Rs 80 million, while the District Toba Tek Singh collected Rs 130 million during the fiscal year 2014-15.
Director Ahmad Saeed said that the division has achieved all target heads of recovery except property tax.
