Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 41m professional tax in 6 months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation collected Rs 41.096 million in wake of profession tax during first two quarters (July-December) of current fiscal year 2015-16 and achieved its annual target of Rs 84.112 million up to 49 percent.

As per details, Faisalabad city, Jhang, Chiniot and Toba Tek Singh come under the jurisdiction of the Faisalabad Excise.

From Faisalabad, it has achieved its annual target up to 52 percent as it has collected Rs 33.06 million against the target of Rs 63.12 million, while it has collected Rs 3.3 million professional tax from Jhang by achieving its annual target of Rs 8.61 million up to 38 percent.

Similarly, it has generated Rs 1.82 million from Chiniot by achieving its annual target of Rs 3.98 million up to 46 percent and from Toba Tek Singh, it has collected Rs 2.905 million against the assigned target of Rs 8.391 million that has been achieved up to 35 percent during six months.
