Faisalabad excise collects Rs 521.498m as motor tax

FAISALABAD: The motor branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 521.498 million under the head of motor tax during eight months of the current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 857.580 million.

Sources informed Customs Today that the excise collected Rs 397.385 from Faisalabad  against the assigned target Rs 645.436, while  from Jhang the excise collected Rs 53.202  million against the assigned target of Rs 96.458 million. Meanwhile,  Chiniot motor branch has collected Rs 21.931  million against the target of Rs 32.494  million.
