Faisalabad Excise collects Rs6.5m as cotton fee, professional tax in December

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department anti-narcotics branch collected Rs1.313 million during the month of December and contributed a handsome amount to achieve its only target of Rs2.21 million.

According to details, the Excise department collected Rs0.256 million from Faisalabad during corresponding period whereas its revenue target is Rs0.338 million.

Sources said that the department collected Rs0.178 million from Jhang against the assigned target of Rs0.35 million adding that, it collected Rs0.0 million from Chiniot against the assigned target of Rs 82217.

Excise and Taxation Department Cotton fee branch collected Rs0.087 million during the above said period against its assigned target of Rs1.43 million.

Meanwhile the Excise and Taxation Department of professional tax collected Rs5.258 million during the month of December 2016 and contributed a handsome amount to achieve its only target of Rs7.285 million.

According to details, the excise department collected Rs3.805 million from Faisalabad during the above mentioned period whereas its revenue target Rs5.546.

Sources told Customs Today that the excise department, jhang collected Rs0.560 million against the assigned target Rs0.746 million adding that, the excise collected Rs0.453 million from Chiniot during the month of December against the assigned target Rs0.345 million. It is also collected Rs0.439 million during the month of the December against the assigned target Rs0.072 million
