Faisalabad Excise generates Rs 10.2m as cotton fee in 9 months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department collected Rs 10.246 million in wake of cotton fee during the first nine months of current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 23.3 million up to 44 percent.

It has collected Rs 2.67 from the Faisalabad against the assigned target of Rs 3.57 by achieving its target up to 75 percent, while it collected Rs 1.045 million against the target of Rs 3.79 million from Jhang and achieved target up to 28 percent.

Meanwhile, the department generated Rs 428,000 against the target of Rs 866,000 from Chiniot and by achieving target up to 49 percent. The excise collected Rs 6.095 million against the target of Rs 15.071 million by achieving target up to 40 percent.
