FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs 5.876 million in wake of entertainment duty during the first nine months of the current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 7.655 million up to 77 percent.
It has collected Rs 5.649 from Faisalabad against the assigned target of Rs 7.295 by achieving its target up to 77 percent, while it collected nothing against the target of Rs 35,000 from Jhang.
Meanwhile, the department generated Rs 202,000 against the target of Rs 111,000 from Chiniot and by achieving target up to 182 percent. The excise collected Rs 25,000 against the target of Rs 215,000 by achieving target up to 12 percent.
