FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department collected Rs 6.63 million under the head of entertainment duty during the first ten months of the fiscal year 2015-16 and achieved its annual target of Rs 7.655 million up to 87 percent.
It has collected Rs 6.384 from Faisalabad against the assigned target of Rs 7.295 million, which has been achieved up to 88 percent. From Jhang, it collected nothing against the assigned target of Rs 35,000 million.
Meanwhile, the excise generated Rs 221,000 against the target of Rs 111,000 from Chiniot surpassing target by 99 percent.
From Toba Tek Singh, the department collected Rs 25,000 against the target of Rs 215,000 achieving target up to 12 percent.
