FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation Department motor branch has achieved its target for November 2015 by hundred percent even before the end of month.
As per details, it has collected Rs 26.5 million against the assigned target RS 26.5 million in only 23 days of the month.
While in 23 days, the motor registration branch has also checked six thousand and five hundred vehicles. These vehicles included motor bikes, commercial and private vehicles.
These vehicles checked at different places in Faisalabad such as Shiekhpura road, Sarrgodha road, Samanabad and Jaranwala road.
During the checking, the excise has also seized sixteen hundred and ten documents of different vehicles.
The official said that checking will be continued, adding that Rs one million will also collect till the last day of November.
