Faisalabad Excise motor branch collects Rs 34m in four months

FAISALABAD: The Excise and Taxation motor branch has collected Rs 34.617 million in wake of vehicles tax during first four months (July to October) of current fiscal year 2015-16.

The officials of excise checked almost 43,886 vehicles at different check posts in the city during the said period. They also impounded 1,330 vehicles and locked them at different police stations.

In order to catch the tax defaulter vehicles, the excise officials established pickets at Gattwala road, Green Town, jumra road and at different locations and checked the vehicles.

However, the excise motor branch has also seized the 5,401 documents of defaulter vehicles during last four month.
