Faisalabad Excise motor branch collects Rs400.57m in H1

FAISALABAD: The motor branch of the Excise and Taxation Department has collected Rs400.57 million under the head of motor tax during six months of the current fiscal year and achieved up to 41 percent annual target of Rs968.07 million.

Sources informed Customs Today that the department collected Rs303.70 million from Faisalabad  against the assigned target Rs728million up to 42 percent during said period while  from Jhang the Excise collected Rs40.637 million against the assigned target of Rs108  million which is up to 37 percent.

Meanwhile, Chiniot motor branch has collected Rs16.110 million against the target of Rs36.680 million up to 44 percent during the above mentioned period.

Similarly Faisalabad Excise collected Rs40.03 million against the assigned target Rs93.910 million from Toba Tek Sing which is up to 44 percent.
