Anti-narcotics cell of Faisalabad Excise collects Rs 54.1 million

FAISALABAD: The anti-narcotics cell of the Excise and Taxation Department collected Rs 54.191 million during the first eight months of the current fiscal year and achieved its annual target of Rs 85.786 million up to 63 percent.

It has collected Rs 48.979 from Faisalabad against the assigned target of Rs 79.406, which has been achieved up to 62 percent, while it collected Rs 2.926 million from Jhang against the target of Rs 4.501 million.

Similarly, the department also collected the Rs 1.596 million from Chiniot against the assigned target of target RS 727,000 and surpassed the target by 219 percent. From Toba Tek Singh, it generated Rs 700,000 against the annual target of Rs 1.151 million by achieving it up to 51 percent.
